Amazon Local is giving away free vouchers, which when redeemed will get you an XBox Live 12-Month Gold Membership for just $35. By comparison, a 12-month subscription currently costs $49.46 at Amazon.

I’d say this could be a fab gift for the video game playing dad, but in my house I’m the one using XBox Live! That’s how I watch all of my Netflix shows on our TV, so I snagged one of these vouchers for myself.

It’s a little confusing that you can pick up the voucher for free right now from Amazon Local and you’ll only pay the $35 when you actually buy the XBox Live membership from Amazon. You must redeem your voucher by June 22, 2012.
