When I first heard that Levi’s had a new line of jeans called “Curve ID,” I thought – big deal.  All of the promos I had seen showed the same size 0-4 models talking about their curves and how these new jeans fit their bodies perfectly based on the “curve ID.”  Based on your body type and curvature you figure out your ID, which includes Slight Curve, Demi Curve, Bold Curve, or Supreme Curve.

Color me surprised when I headed to the Levi’s website and realized that they have Curve ID jeans  in traditional sizes, of course, and also for those of us with larger than a 34 waist!  Let’s face it – when it comes to purchasing jeans as a plus-size gal, or even a gal that just doesn’t fit into tiny designer denim sizes, your options are pretty limited.  How depressing is it to look at pictures of plus-size jeans online and see the most ill-fitting and dumpy jeans imaginable?  Ugh.  Plus-sized gals have curves that should be embraced, not hidden behind a potato sack of denim!
